This shrimp is called Panda Shrimp due to its black and white color, which makes it resemble a Panda. However, the white color on this shrimp can have shades of blue and green, which is known as a shadow Panda. The Panda Shrimp is another one of the Taiwan Bee Shrimps that exhibit some of the best colorations in freshwater. This shrimp can be kept with other Taiwan bee shrimps and is used to breeding the blue bolt shrimp.

이 새우는 판다 새우라고 불리는데, 흑백의 색상이 판다와 닮았다. 그러나 이 새우의 흰색 부분에는 짙은 파란색이나, 녹색이 될 수 있다. 그러한 새우를 쉐도우 판다라고 부른다. 판다 쉬림프는 민물에서 멋진 색상을 보여주는 타이완 비 쉬림프이다. 이 새우는 다른 타이완 비 쉬림프와 함께 키울 수 있으며, 블루볼트(터키옥)를 브리딩하는데 사용한다.

The Panda Shrimp can be bred to other shrimps, such as the Black King Kong, Whine Reds, other Panda shrimps, shadow Pandas, Blue Bolt, Mischling, CRS, CBS shrimp, they can possibly also be mixed with other Caridina cantonensis but the results will vary a lot. The way the Panda shrimp is bred on depends on your line and the breeder you are dealing with. The tendency of the Panda shrimp is hardier than other variations of the Taiwan Bee shrimps, which means that they can easily be bred with other Pandas with a much higher chance of success. So, the Panda shrimp is really popular between breeders.

판다 쉬림프는 블랙킹콩, 브로드와인, 다른 판다 쉬림프, 쉐도우 판다, 블루볼트 또는 CRS, CBS새우와 함께 브리딩 할 수 있으며, 카리디나끼리 교잡이 가능하기 때문에, 다양한 종류의 새우를 얻을 수 있다. 판다 새우는 어떤 혈인지, 브리더가 어떤 새우를 다뤘는지에 따라 달라질 수 있다. 판다 쉬림프의 기질은 다른 타이완 새우에 비하여 강하기 때문에, 그들은 더 높은 확률로 쉽게 이 판다 새우 종을 브리딩 할 수있다. 그래서 이 새우는 브리더들 사이에서 인기가 정말 많다.

The Panda shrimp can be a bit difficult to breed on, it needs to have been sexually mature for a while before you can breed on it. The best way to tell females and males apart is by size since the female will be bigger than the male, and the female will also have a larger undercarriage, this goes for all Caridina cantonensis species.

판다 쉬림프는 번식시키기 약간 까다로울 수 있다. 포란하기 전에 성적으로 성숙해야 한다. 암컷과 수컷을 구분 할 수 있는 가장 좋은 방법은 사이즈이다. 암컷은 수컷보다 더 크다. 그리고 암컷은 더 큰 아랫배(곡선의 배)를 가지고 있다. 이 방법은 모든 카리디나 칸토넨시스 종에 해당한다.

The Panda shrimps tend to be picky eaters, unlike the other Caridina cantonensis shrimps. It mostly eats blanched spinach and high-grade vegetarian shrimp food is sufficient. Make sure that your Panda shrimps eat a varied diet because that is the healthiest for the shrimp, this applies for other shrimps as well. It should also be good to feed the Panda shrimp copepods as a dietary supplement due to its high amount's calcium and protein. The Panda shrimp should be fed moderately, feeding is done best 1 time per day, and if the Panda shrimp does not finish the food after 2-3 hours you should remove it from the tank. Since overfeeding can be a cause of death. Also, leaving the food in the tank for too long will lower the water quality. The exact same thing applies for all of the other Caridina cantonensis species. In my case, I fed one time per 2~3 days as I had lots of moss.

판다 쉬림프는 다른 카리디나 칸토넨시스 새우들과 다르게 약간 까다롭게 먹는 경향이 있다. 이 새우는 대게 유기농 채소 새우 사료와 데친 시금치를 먹는다. 더 건강한 새우로 키우기 위해서는 다양한 식단으로 줄 필요가 있다. 판다 쉬림프에게 높은 함량의 칼슘과 단백질을 함유하고 있는 플랑크톤을 주는 것도 좋다. 판다 쉬림프는 적당히 먹이를 주어야 하며 하루에 1번이 가장 좋다. 판다 쉬림프가 2~3시간 후에 먹이를 다 먹지 않으면 수조에서 제거해 줘야 한다. 과다 공급은 죽음의 원인 될 수 있다. 더불어, 먹이를 너무 오래 수조에 두면 수질이 안 좋아진다. 이것은 모든 카리디나 칸토넨시스 종에 해당된다. 내 경우에 모스가 있었기 때문에, 2-3일에 한 번 먹이를 줬다.
