Hygrophila corymbosa is an undemanding starter plant that originates from Asia. In the aquarium, it will spread fast and create a bright green, long and wide leaves. It is a fast-growing plant that must be pruned frequently. New shoots will spread from the stem and make the plant look bushier. The cuttings can be re-planted in the bottom of the aquarium where new roots form quickly.

하이그로필라 코림보사는 아시아에서 왔으며, 까다롭지 않은 입문용 수초이다. 수조에서 이 수초는 빠르게 퍼지고, 길고 넓은 밝은 녹색의 잎을 형성한다. 이렇게 빨리 자라는 수초는 자주 가지치기를 해줘야 한다. 새로운 새싹은 줄기로부터 퍼질 것이고, 수초를 더욱 덤블처럼 만들어 준다. 자른 줄기는 수조 바닥에 다시 심을 수 있다.
