The Wine Red Shrimp is one of the most popular shrimps between hobbyist. These shrimps used to be on the more fragile side, but they are slowly getting stronger and stronger, they are getting stronger because they are being back-bred to regular bee shrimp and well as hybrid (normal bee/Taiwan bee) shrimp. The exact origin is yet unknown. People believe that it a mutation of the Golden Bee Shrimp. It also could be cross between a (CRS) Red Bee/ (CBS) black bee hybrid with Blue Bee. But it is more believed that it is a mutation.

레드 킹콩 쉬림프는 가장 인기있는 관상용 새우 중 하나이다. 이 새우는 다른 새우에 비하여 더 약하다. 그러나 규칙적인 벌새우나 하이브리드 쉬림프와 백브리딩(back-bred)을 통해서 점점 강한 개체가 되어가고 있다. 어디에서 이 종이 시작되었는지는 잘 알려지지 않았다. 일반적으로 사람들은 골든비의 돌연변이라고 믿는다. 혹은 CRS나 CBS새우와 터키옥 새우와의 교잡으로 나왔다고 믿기도 한다. 하지만 돌연변이가 더욱 신빙성이 있다.

The Wine Red Shrimp can be bred to other shrimps, such as the Black King Kong, other Panda shrimps, Shadow Pandas, Blue Bolt, Mischling, CRS, CBS shrimp, they can possibly also be mixed with other Caridina Cantonensis but the results will vary a lot. The way the Wine Red Shrimp is bred on depends on your line and the breeder you are dealing with. 

레드 킹콩 쉬림프는 블랙킹콩, 다른 판다 쉬림프, 쉐도우 판다, 블루볼트 또는 CRS, CBS새우와 같은 다른 새우들과 함께 브리딩 할 수 있으며, 카리디나끼리 교잡이 가능하기 때문에, 다양한 종류의 새우를 얻을 수 있다. 판다 새우는 어떤 혈인지, 브리더가 어떤 새우를 다뤘는지에 따라 달라질 수 있다.

The Wine Red Shrimp prefers soft acidic water, like most other Caridian Cantonensis shrimps. Clean water is, of course, a must. However, the Wine Red Shrimp is really vulnerable, just like the Crystal Red Shrimp. The Wine Red Shrimp is also very high in demand, like the Crystal Red Shrimp this shrimp is high in demand, meaning that water changes are a must when it comes to the Wine Red Shrimp. The water temperature needs to be lower than 80℉, and the pH should range from 6.2-6.6, the GH should be between 4-6 and the KH should be between 0-2. 레드 킹콩 쉬림프는 다른 카리디나 칸토넨시스 새우 종과 마찬가지로 약산성의 연수를 좋아한다. 레드 킹콩 쉬림프는 크리스탈 레드 쉬림프와 마찬가지로 매우 약한 색물이기 때문에 깨끗한 물이 가장 중요하다. 또한 이 종은 요구 환경 조건이 꽤나 까다롭다. 즉, 환수가 필수 이다. 수온은 23℃가 적당하며, pH는 6.2-6.6, GH는 4-6, KH는 0-2어야 한다. 방금 언급한 부분은 새우 사육에 있어 가장 중요한 부분이다. 그렇지 않으면, 새우가 굉장히 민감하기 때문에 스트레스를 받고 죽을 가능성이 매우 높다.

The Wine Red Shrimp tends to be picky eaters, unlike the other Caridina Cantonensis shrimps. It mostly eats blanched spinach and high-grade vegetarian shrimp food is sufficient. Make sure that your Wine Red Shrimps eats a varied diet because that is the healthiest for the shrimp, this applies for other shrimps as well. It should also be good to feed the Wine Red Shrimp copepods as a dietary supplement due to its high amount's calcium and protein. The Wine Red Shrimp should be fed moderately, feeding is done best 1 time per day, and if the Wine Red Shrimp does not finish the food after 2-3 hours you should remove it from the tank. Since overfeeding can be a cause of death. Also leaving the food in the tank for too long will lower the water quality. The exact same thing applies for all of the other Caridina cantonensis species. In my case, I fed one time per 2~3 days as I had lots of moss.

레드 킹콩 쉬림프는 다른 카리디나 칸토넨시스 새우들과 다르게 약간 까다롭게 먹는 경향이 있다. 이 새우는 대게 유기농 채소 새우 사료와 데친 시금치를 먹는다. 더 건강한 새우로 키우기 위해서는 다양한 식단으로 줄 필요가 있다. 레드 판다 쉬림프에게 높음 함량의 칼슘과 단백질을 함유하고 있는 플랑크톤을 주는 것도 좋다. 판다 쉬림프는 적당히 먹이를 주어야 하며 하루에 한 번이 가장 좋다. 레드 킹콩 쉬림프가 2~3시간 후에 먹이를 다 먹지 않으면 수조에서 제거해 줘야 한다. 과다 공급은 죽음의 원인이 될 수 있다. 더불어, 먹이를 너무 오래 수조에 두면 수질이 안 좋아진다. 이것은 모든 카리디나 칸토넨시스 종에 해당한다. 내 경우에 모스가 있었기 때문에, 2-3일에 한 번 먹이를 줬다.
