Hemianthus micranthemoides from North America is a graceful plant whose small, arched leaves make it look like a miniature version of Egeria. It has a characteristic trailing growth in intensive light, so it can be used as a foreground plant (stems from 10-20 cm tall, 2-3 cm wide). A compact group of Hemianthus micranthemoides is very beautiful with its small, light -green leaves. In terrariums, the plant forms a compact cushion. used to be called Micranthemum micranthemoides.

펄그라스는 북미에서 왔으며, 굉장히 멋진 수초이다. 이 수초의 잎은 작고 아치형이라서, 수초 에게리아의 소형 버전 같다. 강한 조명에서는 바닥으로 질질 끌려며 성장하는 특성을 가지고 있다. 그래서 전경용 수초(크기 10-20 cm, 폭 2-3cm)로 사용할 수 있다. 펄그라스의 빼곡한 식물군은 작고 밝은 녹색의 잎 때문에 굉장히 아름답다. 그리고, 이 수초는 조밀한 쿠션을 형성한다.
