Unlike other Hydrocotlye species, this plant retains its trailing growth form. Verticillata originates from America and becomes 3-7 cm tall. Optimum growth is only achieved in strong light and soft, slightly acidic water, it does not need to be rooted but can be used as a floating plant. Hydrocotyle verticillate is definitely a foreground plant which can also be used in garden ponds. It can also be used as an indoor plant if the soil is kept moist.

다른 하드로코타일 종과 달리 이 수초는 바닥으로 질질끌며 성장을 한다. 베르티킬라타는 아메리카에서 왔으며, 크기는 3-7cm 가량이다.  최적의 성장은 오직 강한 조명과 연수이면서 약산성 물에서 이루어진다. 뿌리 내릴 필요는 없이, 부유식물로 이용 할 수 있다. 하드로코타일 베르티킬라타는 정원 연못에 사용 할 수 있는 전경 식물이다. 토양이 습하다면, 실내 식물로도 키울 수 있다.
