A moss specialty from Brazil, 1-3 cm tall, called "Christmas tree moos", because of its side branch structure which distinguishes it from ordinary Vesicularia dubyana and looks like fir tree branches. It is more demanding than ordinary Java moss and grows more slowly. It attaches readily to roots and stones, and as it spreads in the water it needs pruning to keep its shape attractive. 이 특별한 이끼는 브라질에서 왔으며 크기는 1-3cm 이고 크리스마스 나무 모스라고 부른다. 그 이유는 측면 가지 구조가 일반적인 베시쿨라리아 두비아나종과 구별되며, 전나무 가지와 비슷하기 때문이다. 일반 자바모스보다는 키우기 까다로우며, 더욱 느리게 자란다. 돌이나 뿌리에 쉽게 활착하며, 성장함에 따라 더욱 매력적인 모습을 보이기 위해서는 가지치기가 필요하다.
