Mini pellia  (Riccardia chamedryfolia) is a very small liverwort that grows very slowly.

Another name for Mini Pellia is coral moss, due to the fact is grows like table corals in the ocean.

Being of a hard texture, it is a great liverwort for shrimps to pick off.

Being so small, this great liverwort is perfect for a nano tank.

Mini Pellia can be used in all extends, and it is definitely my best plant/moss because of this.

It is great to use as a gap filler, ground cover, on rocks and on driftwood.

When trying Mini Pellia onto driftwood, it is recommended only to use single flakes of mini pellia to slightly cover the top of the driftwood, this was the growth will be uniform and grow upwards forming coral like growths.

I use black cotton thread to tie the Mini Pellia down, this way it wouldn't get lost in the current.

This method is also recommended for tying on rocks.

 

미니펠리아 (프리미엄모스)는 매우 느리게 성장하는 매우 작은 우산 이끼류이다.

미니펠리아(프리미엄모스)의 다른이름은 산호모스이다. 실제로, 바다안에 테이블 모양의 돌산호와 비슷하게 자라기 때문이다.

거친한 감촉이며, 프리미엄모스는 새우에게 제공하기 가장 좋은 우산이끼류이다.

프리미엄모스는 너무 작으며,  누드어항에 좋은 뷰를 제공해준다.

프리미엄모스는 모든 곳에 활착 할 수 있다. 이러한 이유로 분명히 나의 수초 중에 최고이다.

그것은 바닥을 덮는다든지 돌이나 유목위에 활착함으로써, 빈 공간을 채우기 위한 것으로 가장 좋다.

유목위에 프리미엄모스를 감으려고 할 때, 그것은 유목 맨위를 약간 덮기위해 프리미엄모스의 얇은 조각 하나를 필요로 한다. 그리고, 그 약간의 프리미엄모스는 균일하게 성장할 것이다. 그리고 산호와 비슷한 형태로 위로 성장할 것이다.

나는 프리미엄모스를 아래로 묶기 위해 검정색 면실을 사용한다. 이 같은 방법은 활착하는 당시에 프리미엄모스이 떨어지는 것을 막아줄 것이다.

이 같은 방법은 또한 돌에 활착하려고 할 때도 필요로 한다.

 

 

 

Mini Pellia is recommended to grow under medium to high lighting  (at least 2 wpg), moderate CO2 injection (2 bps) and fertilisers (potassium, iron and a little calcium) are also recommended.

★2wpg = 2 watt per gallon ( = approximately 2 watt per 3.5 L) 

★2bps = 2 bubbles per second  

With high lighting, high CO2 and high ferts, Mini Pellia can grow extremely fast.

But all these elements must be balanced or algae could take over the Mini Pellia very quickly.

It can also be grown under low lighting, but growth will be extremely slow and the Mini Pellia tends to grow sideways.

With high lighting, ferts, and CO2, the above driftwood can grow 4 cm thick and look like this 3months later.

 

프리미엄모스가 성장하기 위해 중간에서 고광량의 빛이 요구 된다. ( 적어도 2 wpg), 보통 이산화탄소(2bps) 주입하고, 비료(칼륨, 철 그리고 약간의 칼슘)가 요구된다.

2wpg = 2 watt per gallon (1갤런 당 2와트 = 약 3.8리터 당 2와트) 

2bps = 2 bubbles per second (초당 2방울) 

조명, 이탄, 비료기가 가장 높을 때 프리미엄모스는 극단적으로 빨리 자랄 수 있다.

그러나 모든 이같은 요소들은 균형이 맞아야 한다. 또는 조류가 프리미엄모스를 뛰어넘어 매우 빠르게 자랄 수 있다.

프리미엄모스는 또한 낮은 광량아래에서도 성장 할 수있다. 그러나 성장은 매우 느리고,  프리미엄모스가 외각으로 자라는 경향이있다.

충분한 광량, 비료기, 이탄을 가진다면 유목 위에서 4 cm 두께로 성장 할 수 있다. 그리고 3달 후 이처럼 보인다.
