Limnophila hippuridoides is originally from Asia and the stalks grow to be 20-50 cm high and 6-10 cm wide -often with beautiful outwards crooked shoot tips. A simple plant, able to adjust to various conditions.

림노필라 히푸리도이데스는 아시아에서 왔으며 줄기는 높이 20-50 cm, 폭은 6-10cm까지 자란다. 이 수초는 자주 바깥쪽으로 구부러진 싹을 보여주기 때문에 아름답다. 이 수초는 다양한 조건에서 잘 적응 할 수 있다. 

The leaves are green with a red-violet underside, and the whole leaf turns red-violet under ideal growth conditions. It is a vibrant growing plant, which willingly creates new, solid shoots from the base. Thinning of the oldest and longest shoots is recommended, in order to make room for such new shoots.

잎의 웃부분은 녹색이고, 아랫부분은 붉은 보라색이다. 그리고 이상적인 성장 조건에서 전체 잎이 붉은 보라색으로 자란다. 이 수초는 활발하게 자라는 식물로서, 식물의 밑부분에서 단단한 새로운 새싹을 만든다. 새로운 새싹이 자랄 공간을 만들기 위해서, 가장 오래된 긴 싹을 제거해주는 것을 추천한다.
