Limnophila sessiliflora is a good and undemanding plant from South-East Asia which is a good alternative to Cabomba, which demands a lot of light. Stems grow fast up to 40 cm long and become 3-4 cm wide. The plant often grows leggy in poor light, but this can be counteracted to some extent by stimulating growth by CO2 addition. Most beautiful when planted in groups. In good growing conditions, it sends out runners and spreads across the bottom. Limnophila sessiliflora used to be called "Ambulia"

림노필라 세실리플로라는 동남아시아에서 왔으며, 까다롭지 않은 수초이다. 이 수초는 높은 광량을 요구하는 카봄바의 대안으로 좋은 수초이다. 이 수초는 낮은 광량에서 마디가 길게 성장한다. 그러나, 이산화탄소를 첨가해주면 어느정도 그러한 현상을 막을 수 있다. 이 수초는 하나의 식물 군으로 심을 때 까장 아름답다. 좋은 조건에서, 이 수초는 바닥을 가로질러 러너하며, 퍼진다. 림노필라 세실리플로라는 암브리아라고 부르기도 한다.
