This Cryptocoryne from Sri Lanka used (mistakenly) to be called Cryptocryne nevillii, but this the name of a species that has never been used in aquariums. Like many other Crytocorynes, not much happens the first month after planing. But then it starts to grow, and willingly produces plenty of runners which form a compact group. The plant becomes 7-20 cm tall, and each rosette 7-15 cm wide.

스리랑카에서 온 크립토코리네 윌리시는 크립토코리네 네빌리로 불리기도 했지만, 이 크립토코리네 네빌리는 한번도 수조에서 사용된 적이 없는 수초다. 다른 크립토코리네 종과 같이 식재 후 첫 달은 아무런 반응이 없다. 그러나, 일단 성장을 시작하면, 러너로 많이 번식하며 굉장히 빠르게 빽빽한 군을 형성할 것이다. 이 수초는 7-20cm 높이까지 성장하며 각각은 로제트는 7-15cm 너비다.
