Anubias barteri var. coffeefolia is a very beautiful, low cultivar of Anubias barteri. 15-25cm tall and a creeping rhizome from 10-15 cm or more. It is characteristic that the leaves arch considerably between the leaf ribs, and the new leaves are red-brown. The color combination and leaf shape make it an attractive variety in both large and small aquariums. It flowers frequently under water but does not produce seeds here. Anubias species seem to grow so slowly that they do not realize that they have been submerged. It is not eaten by herbivorous fish.

아누비아스 커피폴리아는 매우 아름다우며, 적게 개량된 품종이다. 높이는 15-25 cm이고 뿌리 줄기는 10-15 cm 때로는 그 이상이다. 중간의 잎맥을 중심으로 잎이 아치형 모양을 하고 있으며, 새 잎의 색은 적갈색인 것이 특징이다. 잎 모양과 색의 조화는 수조를 매력적이면서 다양하게 해준다. 수중에서 자주 꽃을 피지만, 그렇다고해서 씨를 만들진 않는다. 아누비아스 종들 너무 느리게 성장하기 때문에 성장하는 것을 느끼기 어렵다. 초식 물고기는 이 식물을 먹지 않는다.
