Nesaea crassicaulis from Africa is a beautiful and highly recommended aquarium plant, although it has high demands for light. It has red-brown, cognac-colored leaves. Stems become 30-50 cm and 8-15 cm wide. Grows best in soft and slightly acidic water. Make sure the lower leaves get sufficient light, otherwise they will die off. This plant is similar to Ammannia species and is often mistaken for them. But in the aquarium, it can be recognized by its yellow-green stems. Easy to propagate by side shoots or cuttings, which can be cut off and planted in the bottom.

네사에아 크라시카울리스는 아프리카에서 왔으며 아름답고, 물생활에서 꽤 추천받는 수초이다. 그렇지만, 이 수초는 높은 광량을 요구한다. 이 수초는 적갈색이며, 코냑 색의 잎을 가진다. 줄기의 길이는 30-50 cm, 폭은 8-5 cm이다. 약산성 연수에서 제일 성장을 잘한다. 아랫부분의 잎도 충분히 빛을 받는지 확인해야 한다. 제대로 빛을 받지 못하면 바로 죽어버린다. 이 수초는 아마니아종과 비슷하고 자주 헷갈린다. 그러나 수조에서 황록색 줄기로 쉽게 구분 할 수 있다. 그리고 줄기나 옆에 난 새싹을 잘라 바닥에 심어서 쉽게 번식시킬 수 있다.
