This bamboo-looking stem plant is not a grass. It comes from Asia, where it often grows in rice fields.

이 대나무 모양의 줄기 식물은 풀이 아니다. 이 식물은 아시아에서 왔으며 자주 논에서 자란다.

The growth is upright, but the plant branches out willingly when it is cut. 

성작은 곧게 자라지만, 이 식물을 잘랐을 때, 분지한다.

The leaf is light green, approx. 1cm wide and 3-5 cm long. The stem apex becomes reddish when exposed to CO2 and strong light. 

잎은 밝은 녹색이고 약 1cm 너비와 3-5 cm의 길이이다. 줄기의 꼭대기는 이산화탄소와 강한 빛에 노출되면 붉게 변한다.

Due to quick growth, the longest shoots require ongoing cut back and some of the tops can be replanted, in order to maintain a beautiful and varied group of plants.

빠른 성장 때문에, 이 식물을 유지하기 위해서는 가장 긴 싹은 지속적으로 잘라줘야 한다. 그리고 윗 부분은 다시 심을 수 있다.
