Green spot algae are very commonly seen on the glass of tanks when there hasn’t been a water change in a while, or when an inadequate fertilization scheme has been conducted.

GSA also appears on long-lasting leaves, such as Java Fern, Anubias, and Bolbitus.

녹점이끼는 환수를 하지 않았거나 토양이 비옥하지 않을 때 수조의 유리에서 흔히 볼수 있다.

녹점이끼는 또한 Java Fern, Anubias, and Bolbitus와 같이 오랫동안 있는 잎에서 나타난다.

 

Causes:

Low phosphate (PO4) levels – almost exclusively caused when phosphate levels are depleted.

 

원인

낮은 인산염 - 인산염이 극히 없을 때 발생한다.

Cures:

Scrap glass –Use a razor blade to remove easily from the glass.

Dose Phosphates – Dose PO4 to a concentration of 0.5-2.0 ppm.

Nerite Snails – Nerite snails can help you remove the green spot from leaves, as well as, the glass.

해결책

유리벽면 긁기 - 유리에 면도날을 사용하여 쉽게 제거한다.

인산염 투여 - 0.5~2.0ppm의 농도로 인산염을 투여한다.

Nerite Snails (달팽이) - Nerite Snails (달팽이)는 유리 뿐만아니라 잎에있는 녹점이끼를 제거하는데 도움이 될 수 있다.

Empirically, I do not want to recommend to use the razor blade as it makes scratches on the surface of tanks.

Hence, a plastic card like a credit card would be good in order to eliminate the green spot. Although It will be hard to scrape the surface of tanks, the glass could be prevented from getting scratches.

경험적으로, 면도날은 어항 표면에 스크래치를 만들 수 있기 때문에 추천하고 싶지 않다. 

따라서, 녹점이끼 제거를 위해서 신용카드같은 플라스틱 카드를 사용하는 것을 추천한다.  어항 표면을 긁는게 힘들지만, 그래도 어항에 스크래치를 만드는 것을 막을 수 있다.
