Mayca fluviatilis is a stem plant from South and Central America. The stem is extremely soft and flexible which, in addition to the very narrow, bright green leaves, gives the plant light and graceful expression. It branches willingly and the rapid growth makes regular pruning necessary. This plant prefers soft, slightly acidic water, but it also thrives well in medium hard water.

마야카 플루비아틸리스는 중남미에서 온 줄기 식물이다. 줄기는 부드럽고 유연하며, 잎은 매우 좁고 밝은 녹색이기 때문에 우아하다. 분지가 잘 일어나며, 빨리 자라기 때문에 가지치가 필수이다. 이 수초는 연수이면서 약산성 물을 좋아하는데 연수와 경수의 중간상태의 수질에서도 번식할 수 있다.

Mayaca fluviatilis is known to get very pale shoots if it lacks iron.
