Aponogeton crispus from Sri Lanka look good in an aquarium with its light-green, transparent leaves. Leaves from 25-50 cm and the plant grow to 15-25 cm wide. It makes few demands, although growth is always best in soft, slightly acidic water with a nutritious bottom. In such conditions, the plant produces a mass of leaves, and it flowers very frequently in optimum conditions. Aponogeton crispus is generally found in ponds that are only filled with water in the rainy season, but it does not need a dormant period in the aquarium.

아포노게톤 크리스푸스는 스리랑카에서 왔으며 밝은 녹색의 투명삭 잎으로 수조에서 보기 좋다. 잎은 크기 25-50 cm, 폭 15=25 cm로 자란다. 이 수초는 그렇게 까다롭지 않지만, 바닥에 영양분이 많고 연수이면서, 약간 약산성 물에서 가장 잘 성장한다. 이러한 조건에서, 이 수초는 거대한 잎을 만들어 낸다. 그리고 최적 조건에서 매우 자주 꽃을 피운다. 아포노케톤 크리스푸스는 일반적으로 오직 우기에 물이 차는 연못에서만 볼 수 있어 휴면기가 필요하지만 수조에서는 휴면기가 필요 없다.
